Jeff Johnson is an operations excellence innovator. He is an executive with international, multi-industry experience, specializing in change management, business transformation, Lean management, continuous improvement, performance management, staff training/development, and program and project management. He currently works for Kairos Worldwide Consulting.
Previously Jeff was Director of Process Improvement at USG Corporation (USG), where he established a Lean Management System- a daily continuous improvement process- at 50 manufacturing facilities in the US, Canada, and Mexico. USG received the 2017 American Quality Institute ‘Lean Six Sigma Deployment of the Year’.
Jeff was Certified as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt by PepsiCo and Accenture. At PepsiCo, he led all LSS training and computer systems, as well as his own meta-projects. He was an initial member of PepsiCo’s Global Lean Six Sigma Council. Prior to PepsiCo, Jeff was the Lean Manufacturing Corporate Lead for Kraft Heinz and Management Consultant for AT Kearney focusing on operations excellence. Jeff has engineering project management and manufacturing engineering experience from petro-chemicals and consumer products industries.
Jeff earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Jeff lives near Chicago with his wife Daphne and three children.
